SECTION — 01
Demo video
Record a quick video on your phone showing your project in action. No pro setup needed. Upload it to a free platform, then paste the link into the editor.
01
Record a quick clip
Just film your project working. Show it powered on, moving, or doing its job. Keep it under 90 seconds.
02
Upload it for free
Upload to
YouTube,
Vimeo, or
Loom. They are all free and give you a link instantly.
03
Paste the link
Copy the video link and paste it into the Demo Video step in the project editor.
Tip: Don't want it public? Set your YouTube video to Unlisted. It will only be visible on Syqnal.
SECTION — 02
Interactive 3D models
You can embed interactive 3D models right in your project. Just upload your CAD file to Sketchfab (it's free and handles almost any format) and paste the link into the editor.
01
Export your 3D file
Save your model from SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD as a .STEP or .STL file.
02
Upload to Sketchfab
Go to
sketchfab.com and create a free account. Drag and drop your file to upload it.
03
Copy the embed link
On Sketchfab, click Share → Copy embed link. Paste this URL into the 3D Model field in our editor.
Tip: If you already have a .glb file hosted on Google Drive or GitHub, you can just paste that direct link instead.
SECTION — 03
Schematics
Upload your circuit diagram directly to Syqnal. A PDF is best, but a PNG or JPEG image works great too.
01
Export as a PDF or image
If you're using KiCad, Altium, or Eagle, export your schematic to PDF so it stays crisp. If you drew it by hand, just take a clear photo.
02
Upload to the editor
Go to the Files & Media step in the project editor. Click Upload next to Schematic and select your file.
Tip: Project under an NDA? Mark it as Ghost tier and your files will be hidden from the public.
SECTION — 04
CAD & design files
Let others download and learn from your work. Upload your CAD, code, or design files directly to your project.
01
Export or zip your files
You can upload .STEP, .STL, KiCad files, or just put everything in a .ZIP folder.
02
Upload to the editor
Go to the Files & Media step in the project editor and upload your file. Visitors will get a nice download button.
Tip: File too big (over 50 MB)? Upload it to
Google Drive or
GitHub instead, and paste the link in your project description.
SECTION — 05
Ready to publish?
Once you have your video link, 3D model URL, schematic, and CAD files ready, go back to the project editor and fill in each field. A project with all five assets — video, schematic, CAD file, 3D model, and GitHub link — reaches the highest readiness score and is eligible for educator verification.
Verification is what separates a claimed project from a proven one. It takes one educator sign-off. After that, the verified badge stays on your profile permanently.
